Low energy, tired, feeling sluggish? Your body is trying to tell you it’s running out of important nutrients and therefore becomes more depleted every day. You should never ignore any signals from within your body. This won’t go away by itself, it will only get worse. It’s time to give this a serious thought about your diet and lifestyle in general. For quick results to counteract depletion of nutrients, change of diet and the use of the right supplement is a valuable option in such situation.

What is important is a balanced diet with that variety of foods I often talk about. In this case consider a balanced starchy diet that has foods from this food groups in the right proportion. Which means, more of starchy carbohydrates, like whole grain where possible, plus lots of fruits, vegetables, milk, dairy foods, meat, brown bread, potatoes, fish, eggs, beans, rice, pasta or other sources of proteins. Milk is a rich source of vitamin B and calcium that reduces weakness. Drink a cup of warm milk with one teaspoon of honey, if you like sprinkled with cinnamon, and drink it two to three times a day.

What is also important is to consider iron rich foods. Being low on iron doesn’t only make you look pale, it also makes you feel tired. Cayenne pepper is a spicy herb used for centuries to treat many illnesses, such as sore throat, heart burn, gout, even scarlet fever. It is a good source of vitamins A, C. E, B6, and K, as well minerals like iron, sulphur, magnesium, calcium and phosphorus. Cayenne’s high mineral content makes it an effective treatment for blood sugar and joint problems. Low blood sugar causes tiredness and irritability. Eating regularly is one key to stabilising blood sugar levels, which will keep your energy stores steady too.

Eat at regular intervals so your body knows when the next meal is coming. Your body will adjust and learn to manage feeling of hunger and sustain your energy levels better. Try to eat three meals a day or even better five, broken up in smaller portions; avoid snacks in between meals. Don’t skip breakfast which boosts your energy that you need during the day. The carbohydrates are slow-burning starchy foods, they’re a good source of energy and nutrients for your body.

Sugar steals your energy, cut down on foods and drinks with added sugar. Although, sugar can give you a rush of energy, but it also wears off very quickly and does more harm than good. The natural sugar in fruits, vegetables, etc. is not harmful. Take bananas for instance which contain natural sugars. When banana skins get brown spots and the skin becomes dark, the flashy part of the banana becomes mushy, that’s when the sugar content is the highest. These natural sugars like glucose and fructose as well as potassium convert sugar into energy the natural way. So, this are a few options and ideas what can help to overcome tiredness and fatigue.

Some of the food recommended for your diet is not always fully organic, it often depends where you live. Therefore, the quality in fruits and vegetables can vary. If this is the case it can take longer of what you are trying to do. As a safeguard and to overcome this you can add a supplement which is highly recommended. Make sure it has all the right ingredients made from natural sources only.
